“Light”

May your future be bright.

As chiffon, as clouds that clear the air clean.

As pearl mothers gasp ghostly from the atriums,

May it be...because...they smile down upon you.

Surely, we know

That the alabaster box was really a jar

As open as our hearts to He who sustains us

Scathed yet scotch-guarded

God of our garden

Clothed us in cotton

Not just because we believe

But because such linen breathes.

And sew...the stitches cross our stripes declare us healed

Despite the presence of mine enemies

Of whom we dare naught name

For sake of our solace, these files we'll keep sealed.

I speak from Him to you

As a brother without your blood,

As a flashbang amongst an audience of anger,

With an acoustic heat that bleaches peaches,

That contains an essence of cake batter

As a means to celebrate in the midst of a debatable world.

Verily, verily, I say...

Unto YOU...

This day

And every day after,

You're PURE.

One hundred and ninety two proof

Spiritus!

For even fine wine ages,

And yet,

Against all odds,

You are not a hollowed bottle!

There's infinity in here.

A child...of God.

Mature.

Don't forget

That you are yet

And still

Instilled.

This experience?

All of it--is life.

But inside the "all of this" is all of you--

Out of no way? A way.

A truth.

A light.
